[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have liked a full set of instructions on how to use. There is so much to this microwave and I only use two things on it. Just not enough information with the oven.

Wonderful performance and great looking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave oven (and it is many more things besides just a Microwave) is excellent. It is sleek, professional in appearance, cooks relatively evenly, even without a turntable, and cleans up easily. I have only had it for a little over a month, so I’m still learning new things about it every time I use it, but I am most pleased with how it fits in my kitchen, and especially how it fits above my stove and between my cabinets. Since it replaced my old KitchenAid microwave/exhaust fan, it was easy to install without any modifications to my existing woodwork.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Microwave stopped working in less than 6 months. Although I purchased a service protection plan from the retailer, I was directed to contact the manufacturer as the appliance stopped working within a year of purchase. The manufacturer setup an appointment and the repair company sends an email a few days later Appliance Repair stating “we are currently awaiting the arrival of the parts needed to repair your microwave” although no one has been to my home to actually inspect the microwave to determine the issue. A few days later, I receive another email stating that “We regret to inform that we are still waiting for one or more parts as needed for repair on your KITCHENAID M/W OTR” again, without anyone ever inspecting the appliance. I then contacted the manufacturer again to inform them of the lack of service that I have received from the repair appointment that they setup and their response is simply “All that we can do is setup the service appointment”. At this point, the manufacturer can continue to push the issue over to their authorized repair companies until the warranty expires and I am left without a working appliance. There is no accountability for this company actually honoring their manufacturers warranty for a product that is less than 6 months old and I am left with an inoperable microwave that does not perform its primary function of heating of food for more than 3 seconds before shutting off and generating an error message.

Flush mount fan and large air fryer tray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this wall oven in April to upgrade our over the range convection microwave oven to a more complete oven with an air fryer oven. I use the microwave daily and the air fryer feature weekly. Love the air fryer as it is three times more versatile and more convenient than our counter top air fryer. So easy to use when we are preparing meals for more than two people and we no longer have to clean or manage a special appliance. The microwave works surprisingly well without a turntable. Love the flush mount appearance and fan.

Fell in love and then out of love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We paid for an upgrade to our builders package for this microwave (along with a KitchenAid fridge and dishwasher). I have always wanted to own Kitchen Aid appliances and was so excited. I wanted to love this multipurpose microwave, air fryer, oven, toaster. It is sleek and modern looking and in theory can eliminate almost all of your counter top appliances. Unfortunately, I have fallen out of love due to the constant loud venting after use. Using the oven or airfryer feature causes the unit to loudly vent after use for over an hour with no way to turn off the vent so forget trying to watch a movie after using any feature other than the microwave. The microwave also takes longer than any other microwave I’ve ever owned to reheat or cook or even pop a bag of popcorn. There is also no way to wipe down/clean the front door without activating the touch buttons. There should be a button to disable the touch screen for cleaning. I will be reluctantly keeping the unit but would not purchase it again or recommend it to anyone else. I’m sure KitchenAid makes other great appliances but this one missed the mark.

Not impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwave is not very powerful. Bake feature is difficult to use and does not seem to heat evenly because burning occurs on top. Clock constantly goes off for no apparent reason and is difficult to set. It took 4 people to set the time initially. It would be nice to receive a Users Manual but of course I have to obtain that myself on line.

Not worth the price

Love Hate

I really wanted to love this unit...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple months ago because our old microwave stopped working. It's true what other reviewers are saying: There are definitely hot and cold spots in microwaved food, I'm sure because of the unit not having a turntable. When I heat a cup of tea, I used to set my old microwave to one minute twenty seconds. Now in order to get the same hot cup of tea I have to set it for two minutes. We chose this combo unit because we are short of countertop space and wanted to get rid of our air fryer that takes so much space. The microwave does do a great job on air fryer wings. Next, I used it to bake cookies to try the oven mode out. Some of the cookies were very dark, even black around the edges and bottom, while other cookies were barely done. I don't think I'll use it for baking cookies anymore. In general, I wouldn't buy this again. We considered when buying it, when we move, we would take it with us because it was fairly expensive, compared to basic over-the-stove microwaves. We decided we will be leaving it with this townhouse when we sell. Not impressed at all. What a disappointment.
