Ad Modern Classics
There is so much aesthetically pleasing about nature's handiwork. And with the materials themselves as inspiration, AD Modern Classics avoid the contrived, ephemeral style of typical contemporary furniture. With the use of dyed weathered oak, accents with exotic birdseye maple, and finishes that maintain the inherent beauty within the grain, we achieve something authentic and comfortable. Unique shapes and styles merge with the interplay of these natural materials for a bold and timeless take on modern.
Ad Modern Organics
Inspired by clean, purposeful lines the AD Modern Organics collection places the emphasis on the natural character of Olive Ash and Quartered Oak. In keeping with that theme, alternative finishing techniques such as fuming accentuate the story of the wood as opposed to covering it. The pieces are finally finished with brushed brass accents, smoked glass, and stained white oak.
Ad Modern Synergy
Never content with the status quo, American Drew seeks to follow the "big idea" to whereever it may lead. Modern Synergy is precicely what its name suggests; blending American Walnut, Ambrosia Maple, Knotty Oak, and cold rolled steel for a sum more stylish than its parts. While the style is clean and modern, Modern Synergy is furniture with volumes of character.
Ardennes
Inspired by French Neoclassical design, Ardennes features the primary shapes of that classic period but leaves the more ornate details behind. The result is an updated, casual style that blends perfectly with today's home. It is made using wire brushed White Oak that is finished in a Black Forest finish on the cabinets and bases with contrasting tops finished in a Brindle tone. Notable design elements include shaped drawers, tapered feet, neoclassical chairs, and antique mirror accents on several pieces.
Grantham Hall
The Grantham Hall collection is classic and comfortable with subtle 18th century style influences highlighting a sophisticated, modern design. Simple lines allow the more detailed features to take stage without being overstated. The end result is both elegant to look at and yet comfortable to live with. Rogue Cherry veneers with figured grain highlights are the feature element of Grantham Hall. The finish is a deep coffee tone that sets off the metal work in the hardware. An open arabesque design motif is found in the champagne finish hardware, wooden fretwork, and overlays. Other design touches include subtle inlays on select tops, reeded accent molding, hand-hammered nail-head trim, and ferrules on the feet of certain items.
Litchfield
Beautiful yet practical, the Litchfield collection creates the ambiance of casual retreat. Metal elements along with accents of denim blue and natural, woven cane add to the personality. The variety of surfaces make Litchfield ideal for those seeking a relaxed, comfortable, lifestyle whether it be on the water's edge or in the midst of an otherwise bustling city. Key items like the Laurel Panel Bed can lead the style to a more cottage atmosphere while a bed like the Currituck with its natural, woven cane might be the perfect fit in a more coastal setting. Or if a clean, more flexible styling is the theme, then the elegant curve of the Hanover sleigh makes an excellent choice. Whatever the mood of the room, Litchfield is truly a classic for those looking to make their home a retreat. Download Litchfield catalog

Cascade
Cascade was inspired by the unique personalities of its two wood species. A beautifully layered texture comes from contrasting the grain of wire-brushed solid ash against the smooth character of solid maple. The styling is subtle and even minimalist in order to allow the natural characteristics of the wood to define the collection.

Elise
Sophisticated yet simple is one way to describe the Elise collection. This clean transitional design lets the focus rest on the subtle details, the rich color of the hand-rubbed amaretto finish, and the elegant lines of the hardware. Elise is made from solid Appalachian maple that is finished with a wax lacquer for a rich, deep character. To lend a family friendly feature while maintaining the clean look, Elise utilizes Sunbrella performance fabric for a color-fast, cleanable, and stain resistant surface on the upholstered dining seats. In addition to modern features like our adjustable soft-close drawer glides, Kincaid utilizes the best of the old-world construction techniques. Such features include English Dovetails, mortise and tenon construction, floating tops and panels, full dust proofing, and multi-step hand-rubbed finishes.
Foundry
Foundry's industrial-chic design is a story of its inspiring roots. The casual styling is both original and at the same time familiar. This merger is in part due to the natural character of solid wood mixed with styling cues from elements and materials found in the workshops and machine rooms common in furniture and cabinet manufacturing. Foundry is constructed of solid Norwegian Spruce which has been wire brushed to give the wood an aged, "lived-in" texture. A multi-step finishing process adds depth and character with hand-rubbed burnished edges. That process accentuates the grain flow of the more dense grain patterns, creating a rich look only possible with solid wood. In addition to modern features like our adjustable soft-close drawer glides, Kincaid utilizes the best of the old-world solid wood furniture construction techniques. Such features include English Dovetails, mortise and tenon construction, floating tops and panels, full dust proofing, and multi-step hand-rubbed finishes.
Greyson
Greyson is exactly what you would expect in a vintage kitchen from a beautiful European estate. Utilizing solid white oak, the tops on each piece are allowed to retain the natural markings of the wood, and are hand-worn for a vintage feel. These weathered tops are then finished in a fossil tone and correlate seamlessly with solid Pacific Northwest alder cabinets. The tighter grain alder allows for a smoother, more refined surface to create contrast against the oak. Detailed, nature inspired carvings blend with pronounced architectural motifs to complete the style. Greyson follows the formula that has made Kincaid solid wood furniture sought after for four generations: original design, heirloom solid wood construction, and an honest value. In addition to modern features like our adjustable soft-close drawer glides, Kincaid utilizes the best of the old-world construction techniques. Such features include English Dovetails, mortise and tenon construction, floating tops and panels, full dust proofing, and multi-step hand-rubbed finishes.
Mill House
The Mill House collection reaches back to our roots and highlights the old techniques utilized during the early days of American furniture making. During those times craftsman were limited to solid lumbers and the materials they had, and they used techniques that were functional and visible to construct the furniture they built. The furniture itself was built with a form-follows-function perspective which resulted in pieces that were inherently well made. Due to the use of those varying resources and the purposes for each piece, this led to a sort of unintended eclectic style which, ironically, is popular today.
Modern Classics
Eclectic, mixed materials can be great in the right application. Modern Classics is our way of merging textures and finishes in new ways from some added personality.
Montreat
The Montreat collection is a balanced mix of clean lines and natural materials setting the stage for a unique interplay. Montreat is made from solid Dutch White Cedar and finished in gray tones of our Graphite finish. Burnished edges accent the mitered face molding that frames each piece with an angular design element. The accent drawers across the top of several pieces have a corrugated detail for a linear effect with custom tear drop drawer pulls. The hardware is finished in a subtle, unique Black Nickel tone. In addition to modern features like our adjustable soft-close drawer glides, Kincaid solid wood furniture utilizes the best of the old-world construction techniques. Such features include English Dovetails, mortise and tenon construction, floating tops and panels, full dust proofing, and multi-step hand-rubbed finishes.
Plank Road
Inspired by the rugged solid wood roads that America traveled, Plank Road is a tribute to the sturdy resolve that is our heritage. Every solid wood board presents its own personality while playing a part in the broader story. Avoiding unnecessary embellishments, the beauty of the furniture's construction is enough.
Portolone
Made of Solid Alder and select hardwoods, Portolone blends timeless styles from the wine regions of Italy. The collection features all of the elements that make up the essence of Kincaid Furniture from its solid wood construction to the hand-rubbed finish. The traditional lines of Portolone are given a casual sensibility through careful details such as hand-hewned wood tops, hand-burnished edges, and the soft patina from the waxing lacquer finish. The look is completed with custom hardware in a Roman bronze finish, with dark Emperador marble available on select items. In addition to modern features like our adjustable soft-close drawer glides, Kincaid utilizes the best of the old-world construction techniques. Such features include English Dovetails, mortise and tenon construction, floating tops and panels, full dust proofing, and multi-step hand-rubbed finishes.

Trails
As the world around us grows increasingly synthetic, we have this desire to connect with something real. We long for retreat. Instead of rushing to the next appointment, to simply pass along the trail and enjoy what it has to offer. At Kincaid we feel this connection too. To not only be inspired by our favorite trails, but to capture their natural character. In an increasingly artificial world, why not come home to something authentic, peaceful, and timeless.
Traverse
Inspired by a decades old relationship with solid wood, the Traverse collection is our way of letting the craft speak for itself. It begins with Ambrosia Maple which includes beautiful natural character markings that highlight the solid wood nature of the collection. We allow the natural worm holes and their characteristic markings to show through alongside the various grain patterns of the maple. From there the design determined that the joinery that is used in crafting solid wood furniture itself should be the focus. Details such as the box joint where the two solid wood surfaces are connected or more discretely, the base which features an open end tenon are left in plain view. It doesn't take a carpenter to appreciate the workmanship in this clever merging of time honored craftsmanship and modern style.
Tuscano
The Tuscano collection has deep roots. In fact, the design of Tuscano started as our in-house designer stood admiring an antique kitchen island that had been originally built in Italy in the late 18th century. The key element that caught our eye was the simple, supportive corbel that finished off the top of each post. That shape became the became the sketch that this entire European inspired collection would be built from.
Vintage Pine
Rustic simplicity is the hallmark of our Vintage Pine collection. This solid pine collection was inspired by the farmhouses of the American country side. The beauty of solid wood is accentuated with simple, uncluttered lines. Classic details like saw-tooth shelf supports and wooden latches blend seamlessly with up-to-date features like the self-storing leaves on our Refractory Dining Table or the Pie Safe that converts to a wine cabinet with just a flip of a shelf. With its clean lines, Vintage Pine is equally at home in either a contemporary or country setting. In addition to modern features like our adjustable soft-close drawer glides, Kincaid utilizes the best of the old-world construction techniques. Such features include English Dovetails, mortise and tenon construction, floating tops and panels, full dust proofing, and multi-step hand-rubbed finishes.
